Window & Door Installation

Energy-efficient window and door replacement that seals out drafts, weather, and wasted heat.

Tighter Homes, Quieter Rooms, Doors That Close Right

Older windows and tired entry doors are easy to live with until the first hard freeze. Drafts, fogged glass, sticky sliders, and water stains under a sash are signs the unit is no longer doing its job. Casper Contracting LLC replaces and installs windows and doors for homes and light commercial buildings across Northeast Indiana — measured, flashed, and sealed so the opening lasts longer than the finish paint.

A replacement is only as good as the install. We pull the old unit, check the opening for rot or out-of-square framing, and set the new window or door with proper shimming, flashing, and exterior sealant. That is what keeps wind-driven rain and winter air from finding the same path it used before.

If you are remodeling, we can coordinate new openings with drywall, painting, and exterior trim so you are not juggling three contractors for one wall. If you only need a failing slider or a drafty front door swapped, we will keep the scope tight and the mess contained.

Windows and Doors We Install

  • Replacement windows

Double-hung, sliders, casements, and picture windows chosen for the opening, the exposure, and how you want the room to feel.

  • Entry and storm doors

Front and side doors that latch cleanly, seal at the threshold, and look like they belong on the house — not a catalog leftover.

  • Patio and sliding doors

Sliders and patio units that roll, lock, and keep weather out of the living space instead of fighting the track all winter.

  • Flashing, trim, and sealing

The details that stop leaks: pan flashing where it belongs, exterior trim, and sealant that can take Indiana temperature swings.

  • Rot and opening repair

Sills and jambs that have started to fail get repaired before a new unit goes in, so you are not wrapping a new window around old damage.

  • Remodel and new openings

Sized openings for additions or layout changes, coordinated with the rest of the crew when walls, siding, or electrical also move.

From Measure to Weather-Tight

  1. Measure and specify

We measure each opening, talk through glass, operation, and exterior color, and give you a line-item estimate — no vague “per window” guesses.

  2. Protect the house

Floors and furnishings get covered. Old units come out carefully so siding, drywall, and landscaping are not collateral damage.

  3. Install, seal, and clean

New units are set plumb and square, flashed, trimmed, and tested. We haul the old windows and leave the rooms ready to live in.

Common Questions

How do I know it is time to replace windows instead of repairing them?

Fog between the panes, frames that no longer square, rot at the sill, or rooms you cannot keep comfortable in January are the usual signs. We will tell you if a sash repair or weatherstrip is enough — replacement is not always the first answer.

Will new windows help with energy bills and noise?

A correctly installed, insulated unit cuts drafts and outdoor noise more than a “high efficiency” sticker sitting in a leaky opening. We treat the install as part of the performance, not an afterthought.

Can you replace a door and the surrounding trim in one visit?

In most cases, yes. Entry door replacements often include threshold, brickmold or exterior trim, and interior casing so the opening looks finished from both sides.
