Drywall & Painting

Hanging, taping, texture matching, and interior or exterior paint with a finish that looks like it was always there.

Walls and Paint That Look Finished — Not Patched

Nothing dates a remodel faster than a wavy seam, a texture island, or paint that flashes under afternoon light. Casper Contracting LLC handles drywall hanging, taping, finishing, texture matching, and interior or exterior painting for homeowners across Northeast Indiana who want the room to look complete when we leave.

We do the unglamorous prep: protecting floors, cutting out bad board, fastening loose edges, and priming stains so they do not telegraph through the top coat. Water damage, door-knob holes, and ceiling cracks get the same attention as a full room hang. Matching existing texture on an older North Manchester or Fort Wayne home is part of the job, not a hope.

Because we also demolish, wire, and finish exteriors, drywall and paint often close out a larger project. You can hire us for a single room refresh or for the finish sequence after a kitchen tear-out — one schedule, one crew, one standard.

Drywall and Painting Services

  • Drywall hanging and finishing

New walls and ceilings hung tight, taped, and finished to a paint-ready surface — including corners that stay straight.

  • Repair and water damage

Cut-outs for leaks, popped fasteners, and impact damage repaired so the patch disappears after paint, not after you squint.

  • Texture matching

Orange peel, knockdown, and common older textures blended into the surrounding wall instead of left as a visible square.

  • Interior painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, and doors with proper cut-in, even coverage, and colors that look the same from every angle of the room.

  • Exterior painting

Siding, trim, and fascia prepped for Indiana weather — scrape, prime, and coat so the finish is not peeling by next spring.

  • Stain blocking and prep

Smoke, water, and marker stains sealed before finish coats. Prep is where paint jobs last or fail; we do not skip it.

A Finish You Can Live With

  1. Protect and assess

We cover floors and fixtures, then map repairs, texture, and paint so you know what is getting opened up before we start.

  2. Repair, hang, and finish

Board goes up, seams get the coats they need, and texture is blended. We do not paint over soft mud or dusty walls.

  3. Paint and punch-list

Finish coats go on in the right light. We walk the room with you, catch holidays and drips, and leave the space broom-clean.

Common Questions

Can you match the texture already on my walls?

In most homes, yes. We sample the existing pattern, practice the blend, and feather the repair so it does not read as a patch from across the room. Heavily unique or damaged textures may need a larger blend area — we will say so up front.

Do I need to move furniture before you paint?

Clear what you can. We shift and cover what remains, but an empty wall is faster and safer for your belongings. We will tell you what to pull out when we schedule.

Can drywall and paint follow a demolition in the same project?

That is a common sequence for us. Demo, then hang, finish, and paint so you are not waiting on a second company to close the walls.
